Awarua Whanau Services provide health and social support to whanau in Murihiku.
Our kaupapa is to walk alongside whanau and support them realise their moemoea. Our organisation has a focus on the hauora of pepi, tamaiti and rangatahi. We work with their whanau to give them the matauranga and taonga to ensure their mokopuna are prepared to be our future.
Awarua Whanau Services has an opportunity for an individual who is committed to pursuing hauora for whanau including with a focus on rangatahi development.
To be considered for this roles the ideal candidate will possess:
• Passion for working with whanau Maori
• In-depth knowledge of Maori values and beliefs that underpin their practice to achieve whanau ora
• Extensive networks and relationships with agencies, Maori and wider community
• Experience with working with Rangatahi and their whanau
• Clean full driver licence
