Type Full time, PermanentBarry Stewart Builders Ltd are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our talented and dedicated team in this full time senior position. It is a challenging role requiring a high degree of intuition, accuracy, excellent communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. The successful candidate will report directly to the general manager and also work closely with design staff. A proven background in accounting and payroll is a prerequisite.

Duties include:

Weekly payroll
Debtors & creditors
Monthly invoicing
Managing Payment Claims including tracking of variations & retentions
End of month reporting and reconciliation
GST, PAYE & Pay Day filing reconciliations and payments
Preparation of employment contracts
Job file creation, monitoring & reporting
Managing smaller job files, including insurance work, in conjunction with the GM
Assisting the GM in the pricing role including the seeking and collating of tender documentation
General accounting and administration duties including the use of MS Office Suite (Excel & Word) to an advanced level
Showing competence in all communications with clients, trade staff and subcontractors
Using the accounting software Plus Factor (on-the-job training will be provided)
Experience with website design and a good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures would be advantageous.
