We require a Glaziers Assistant to join our team here at Invercargill Glass and Mirror, the job will include installing new aluminium windows and retro fit double glazing. This position could lead to an apprenticeship being offered in the future for the appropriate applicant.
The successful applicant will need to have the following attributes:
• Be an honest, reliable and hardworking, hands on person
• Able to work accurately with measurements and have a high attention to detail
• Have good time management
• Have good communication skills
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Have a good level of physical fitness as some heavy lifting is required
• A quick learner with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in the building industry would be preferred however not essential
We offer:
• 40 hrs per week
• Opportunity to learn new skills
