We have two permanent afternoon shifts available:
VACANCY ONE
Sunday-Thursday 1500-2100 shifts (30 hours per week)
VACANCY TWO
1500-2300 and 1630-2030 shifts on a rotating roster of 4 days on, two days off.
The successful applicant could also pick up other shifts on a casual basis if interested.
Working as a Healthcare assistant is a busy and diverse role, assisting our residents with their day-to-day cares such as showering and toileting, delivering meals, providing emotional care and much, much more. To thrive in our friendly and supportive environment and provide quality and consistent care to residents we are looking for someone with:
• Experience in and/or a passion for Aged Care
• Empathy and patience with elderly residents
• Outstanding communication skills
• A good level of fitness
• A friendly and professional manner
• A strong and reliable work ethic
• Your own independent transport
• The ability to work in New Zealand (NZ residency or a valid work permit)
Full training and ongoing development will be provided including a supportive and tailored orientation period to suit individual needs.
