The Babylon Testnet has integrated with Injective, paving a novel path towards bringing Bitcoin security into the rapidly expanding Injective ecosystem.
Specifically, Babylon has connected its recently launched testnet with Injective via IBC which directly allows the two chains to communicate with one another. Furthermore, it creates an initial gateway for Injective dApps to borrow security from Bitcoin which is by far the highest value blockchain today. Effectively, this would offer an additional layer of security to dApps by capitalizing on Bitcoin’s network value.

It's interesting to see how epochs serve as a mechanism for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of a blockchain network. The rewards that validators receive during epochs also serve as an incentive to participate in the network and help to keep it running smoothly.

Babylon can timestamp any digital asset by anchoring its data onto the Bitcoin blockchain.

This process benefits data integrity and authenticity by providing a verifiable and immutable record of the asset's existence and state at a particular point in time.

Timestamping with Babylon ensures that the asset's data cannot be altered or tampered with retroactively, thus enhancing trust and transparency in digital transactions and records.

Babylon Chain's primary focus is on enabling Bitcoin staking on other blockchains, it currently doesn't offer direct timestamping functionality for any digital asset. However, its core security principles and connection to the Bitcoin network still contribute to data integrity and authenticity in several ways like Securing Timestamping via Bitcoin Network, Cryptographic Proofs and Verifiable Records etc

Hey, I was looking into buying bitcoin and every website I go to either needs me to verify my identity or $2000 is too small. I don't want to buy more than $2000 worth because I'm new to cryptocurrencies and just want to check it out for now?

Thanks :) view all

kiwikiwifly.com now accept the bitcoin escrow service for the transaction between the buyers and sellers.

ExperienceKiwikiwifly Service Team wrote the post • 0 comments • 916 views • 2019-12-28 23:11 • added this tag no more than 24h

kiwikiwifly.com now accept the bitcoin escrow service for the transaction between the buyers and sellers! It's more secure to rely on the open source code by global developers than single team or company.

you can go to www.bitcoinescrow.ga  to get step by step turorial .

How does 2 of 3 Bitcoin Escrow work? Here is the simple tutorial for beginners
In Simple Infographic Representation

Our 2 of 3 Bitcoin Escrow service uses Bitcoin's multisignature function. There are 3 participants in this escrow service. A buyer, a seller and a mediator. All the transaction online and through https://bitcoinescrow.ga/.

1. Any one of the three participants can generate an escrow address (and a redeem script) by adding the public key of all three participants. The mediator's public key can be selected from the list of mediators option. Alternatively, you can leave this whole process to the mediator for a smooth transaction.

If you don't have a public key, you can generate your own key combination (an address, a public key and a private key) using the  New Address tab.NOTE: Never share your Private Key to anyone else. If you do, you would lose your bitcoins! They can sign the transaction on your behalf and redeem all the coins to their address.

2. To confirm the correctness, the redeem script can be verified here   .

3. Once the redeem script is verified, the seller can send the Bitcoins to the newly generated escrow address.

4. Once the coins are received into the escrow address, it means the coins are locked into the escrow (meaning, it cannot be released without any of the 2 participants signing the transaction). To confirm if the coins are received in the escrow address, simply check the balance in any Blockchain Explorer .

5. Now that the coins are locked, the buyer can transfer the money and share the details of the same to the mediator and the seller. The seller confirms the completion of the money transfer.

6. The mediator then initiates the unsigned raw transaction using the Transaction tab here by loading the redeem script, adding the total amount (minue the network fee) and entering the Bitcoin address where the buyer wishes to receive the coins. The mediator then shares the unsigned raw transaction to the buyer.

7. The buyer signs the raw transaction using the sign tab with his/her private key. This generates a new 1st signed raw transaction. The buyer then shares the 1st signed raw transaction with the seller/mediator for their signature. Now either the seller or the mediator can sign the 1st signed raw transaction by repeating step 7. This will generate the 2nd signed raw transaction.

8. The 2nd signed raw transaction can then be broadcast to the main network using Broadcast tab which will generate a new Transaction ID (TX ID). You can use Blockchain Explorer to check the status of the Transaction. This confirms the completion of the escrow transaction view all

Ok, so we just love design and tech and we ain’t afraid to show it.

“We can just use this convolutional neural network approach and remove the depth sensor.” - Engineering Team

Job description

Alrighty! We’re looking for an iOS native whiz, with a serious interest in shiny new applications. You will initially be working on an app for one of NZ’s largest telcos to reliably bring media to the masses, and the sky’s the limit from there!

Skills & requirements

Excellent communication skills.

iOS skills: preferably 4+ years’ commercial experience building high quality iOS Swift or Objective-C apps using industry best practice.

Ideally, you know a bit about Video technologies like HLS, Brightcove and various streaming protocols.

Strong knowledge and experience with UIKit and the iOS SDK’s of past and present.

Experience with iOS Objective-C or Swift and the XCode toolchain.

Familiarity with mobile app CICD tools and workflows (you can probably explain how iOS code signing works in relative detail).

You are a master debugger, you’ve got a deep knowledge of the iOS ecosystem and operating system, and getting close to metal isn’t something you’d be shy about.

You’ve shipped apps, many times.

You dig agile development and you really know - and can show your experience with - the whole software dev life-cycle. You’re a start-to-finish kinda kid.

Documentation and communication (in-person, email, slack, carrier pigeon if need be) doesn’t scare you.

You need a reasonable opinion around here so you can share recommendations and alternatives objectively. Plus, it helps when deciding where to go for lunch.

You’re effective by nature - you like to move fast, you like prototyping, and you love validating and being thorough in all aspects of your day-to-day job.
